East Devon District Council has a new Cabinet after a virtual meeting of the full council. The meeting began last night but the stream was removed from YouTube after a councillor was heard to swear. The meeting resumed today with an alliance taking control of the council. The new Cabinet members are:
- Leader of the Council – Paul Arnott (Independent East Devon Alliance – IEDA)
- Deputy Leader of the Council – Eileen Wragg (Liberal Democrat)
- Sustainable Homes and Communities – Megan Armstrong (IEDA)
- Corporate Services and Covid-19 Response – Jess Bailey (IEDA)
- Economy and Assets – Paul Hayward (IEDA)
- Coast, Country and Environment – Geoff Jung (IEDA)
- Strategic Development – Dan Ledger (IEDA)
- Democracy and Transparency – Paul Millar (IEDA)
- Climate Action – Marianne Rixson (IEDA)
- Finance – Jack Rowland (IEDA)
