Police and Crime Commissioners

The following PCCs have announced that they are not seeking re-election at the elections in May this year:

  • Lord Willy Bach (Labour): Leicestershire
  • Mark Burns-Williamson (Labour): West Yorkshire
  • Barry Coppinger (Labour): Cleveland
  • Matthew Ellis (Conservative): Staffordshire
  • Lorne Green (Conservative): Norfolk
  • Kathryn Holloway (Conservative): Bedfordshire
  • David Jamieson (Labour): West Midlands
  • Arfon Jones (Plaid Cymru): North Wales
  • Jane Kennedy (Labour): Merseyside
  • Michael Lane (Conservative): Hampshire
  • Angus Macpherson (Conservative): Wiltshire
  • Sue Mountstevens (Independent): Avon and Somerset
  • Julia Mulligan (Conservative): North Yorkshire
  • Anthony Stansfeld (Conservative): Thames Valley
  • Martyn Underhill (Independent): Dorset

There are also two PPC positions which are currently being filled by Acting Police and Crime Commissioners. They are due to:

  • Jason Ablewhite (Conservative) resigned as PCC for Cambridgeshire and Ray Bisby is Acting PCC until the election
  • Ron Hogg (Labour) passed away as PCC for Durham and Steve White is Acting PCC until the election
