Caerphilly is a council area in lockdown due to a spike in Coronavirus cases but that hasn’t stopped the local authority from appointing a new Deputy Leader. Sean Morgan remains in charge of Economy and Enterprise. Barbara Jones has left the cabinet and her role as Deputy Leader.
In addition to the Deputy Leader appointment, Ross Whiting has replaced Cllr Jones as Cabinet Member for Learning and Achievement. John Ridgewell has joined the cabinet in a new position as Cabinet Member for Environment and Infrastructure.
